When I was in the 10th grade, I won $40 in a digital media production class for my music video to The Kinks' "Dedicated Follower of Fashion."
I was sold. If I could get paid to do this for a living, I was in.
I've been creating videos for the web ever since. I went to George Washington University, graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Communications and started working at The Washington Post in the video department. I've worked on a lot of cool things since: from food stories, to oral histories of sports rivalries, to profiles and interviews to editing the Post's first feature-length documentary, "First and 17."
